True confession, I went skiing for the first time last year. I was a ballet dancer and I always shied away from skiing for fear it would somehow mess up my knees. Didn't people always come back from a ski break on crutches? Plus who willingly seeks out cold weather?
Well we all went Upstate last winter and I went to Ski School! I fell in love! Then we went to Aspen for a week and did another two days of school and by the end I was doing Blues with ease and excitement. We are going again to Aspen this year, and I just can't wait! This coat is called the Aspen, and I think it's because it's got such a sexy après-ski vibe. Great dressed up or down (can you see it with a black wool pencil and overknee boots?)
The scene in Aspen is all sexy and sporty and all ski-like-- it fascinated me. I had no idea that you could look so good in the cold. I am really looking forward to more 'research' during our next ski trip. It can't come soon enough!
